The Laser Lipo Treatment Process
You may be curious about what exactly is involved in a Laser Lipo treatment. Each treatment in our Essex clinics will usually take between 30 to 60 minutes depending on the area being treated and is a 5 step process as described below.
Laser Lipo 5-step process in Essex
A Laser Lipo treatment is a simple 5-step process (please note the positioning of probes and diodes will differ if different parts of the body or the face is being treated):
- Consultation – a medical questionnaire is completed; target areas are measured and photographs are taken.
- Two large Diode laser paddles are placed on the treatment area. Two smaller Probe lasers are placed over lymphatic glands and held in place by underwear.
- The Laser Lipo will then be switched on for 10 minutes, relocated and turned on for another 10 minutes and repeated again.
- The treated area will be measured to assess inch loss achieved and depending on the lient results are expected to be between 0.5 and 3 inches.
- In order to increase the body's ability to remove the Triglycerides (the broken down fat cells), it is necessary to assist this natural process by increasing the metabolic rate. This can be achieved in a number of ways but they all involve some form of exercise.
Laser Lipo Cell Breakdown
During the Laser Lipo process, the breaking down of the fat cells starts when the laser penetrates the skin and makes contact with the fat cells. Pores form on the cells causing them to 'sweat'. The water, Glycerol and free fatty acids emerge from the cells and then occupy the space beneath the fatty layer in the skin.
Laser Lipo Lymphatic Drainage
The fat cells reduce in size and the lymphatic system then removes the fatty liquids through the venous system, where they are processed in the same way as fatty foods that are digested. Not only is the Laser Lipo procedure quick, safe and pain-free, it is also healthy.
Laser Lipo After Care
After Care advice encourages our Essex clients to follow a sensible health and exercise routine. The Laser Lipo procedure does not harm the body in any way and will still maintain its ability to store fat in the areas where the work has been carried out. This is an important health factor as it prevents the fat being stored in different parts such as around the heart or other vital organs. A vital aspect of the procedure is to ensure that cardio exercise is taken within 12 hours. If clients eat sensibly and regularly, combined with exercise, the body shape will retain the effects of the Laser Lipo treatment.
